On the cusp of the 61st Annual Drama Desk Awards, for which The Lobbyists are nominated for Outstanding Music, come share a night with this up-and-coming local indie folk-rock band of music and theater makers.

This “undeniably talented” (Village Voice) group of actor-musicians take their name from the lobby of The Flea Theater, where they first started making music in 2012. Their unique sound and songwriting have received numerous acclaims. The New York Times calls their songs “marvelous” and their musicianship “impressive,” while Entertainment Weekly lauds SeaWife’s “enchanting score.”
